True, the crimson curse's enemies will not appear in ANY of the Darkest Dungeon levels, regardless of week or stage of infection. HOWEVER, heroes already infected will naturally still be infected and require the blood. One thing the OP should keep in mind when looking at the (Crimson Court) DLC is that it can be activated in 3 parts. Crimson Court is the first DLC for the legendary nihilistic roguelike Darkest Dungeon, a parallel campaign experience that offers another tale from the Lovecraftian world created by Red Hook.
